What is Love? The world has many secular definitions from the Greeks, such as brotherly, agape, or unconditional, and Yahwah does have conditions for his love. And most of the Christians seem to believe it is without the Law. Many have taught Messiach as love, and he is also the word in action, love in action. But his Apostle John, who was “the disciple whom Yahwsha, loved” is likely the best source to learn it as Yahwsha taught it. John truly placed his identity in Yahwah which is why he was a son of Yah.
John is the faithful witness of the Love of Yahwsha, the first and Apostle and holds the eternal seed of Yah within him. Even Yahwsha said in the porch of Solomon in the temple to the Yahudis, in John ,10:34 “those to whom the WORD CAME… is it not written in the writings: I have said you are Aluhym?” Little gods, which the judges were called, were “gods.”
Paul is one of the Apostles and according to Matthew 28, one of the “judges” of the 12 tribes, which was also something Yahwsha gave to the Apostles. Consequently, would he not be able to advise us at the best time? To answer the question, “What is Love?” I will emphasize his three little books, First, 2nd and 3rd John, to understand how we walk in these commands. Why, because John was called the “Disciple whom Yahwsha loved.”
John was the first Apostle; after John the Baptist baptized Yahwsha, he and Andrew followed him home, and they went to introduce him to Peter. John was the first and the last living epistle who wrote Revelation. He bears record of Yahwsha and John the immerser of whom he is also a disciple, but does not highlight himself save as a witness but not openly as first among the disciples in John 1.
19 ¶Then this is the record of John, when the Jews sent Priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?...
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is that Son of Aluhym.
35 The next day, John [THE IMMERSER SPIRIT OF ELIYAH] stood again, and two of his disciples.
36 And he beheld Yahwsha walking by, and said, Behold that Lamb of Aluhym.
37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and followed YAHWSHA.
John is one of these two disciples. He was called the “Disciple whom Yahwsha loved.” By John himself and others. And this is said when Messiah warns that there is one who betrays him.
John 13: 23 Now there was one of his disciples, which leaned on Yahwsha’ bosom, whom Yahwsha loved.24 To him beckoned therefore Simon Peter, that he should ask who it was of whom he spake 25 He then, as he leaned on Yahwsha’s breast, said unto him, Adoni, who is it?
John is important because he rested in the bosom of Yahwsha. We will explain the significance of this in a moment, but first, let's understand the Apostle John's name.
Yehochanan (יְהוֹחָנָן), meaning "YHWH is Gracious" or "YHWH is Merciful.” John in Hebrew is Yah or JAN Yahwah’s seed. Yah’s breathed seed, set apart and secured seed. John or Yahnhanan, was the seed of his Rwach and set apart seed secured by the sacrifice of Yahwsha.
As the first disciple, baptized by John the immerser, and the last John given the heavenly Revelation of end times, witnessed the life, death, resurrection and return of Yahwsha. Like the two angels on either side of the Ark of Testimony, witnessing over the Mercy Seat, guarding the testimony of our Saviour and Messiach, Yahwsha.
John is called, and calls himself by this appellation or name “that disciple whom Yahwsha loved” another time here:
John 21: But when the morning was now come, Yahwsha stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Yahwsha. 5Then Yahwsha saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 6And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7Therefore that disciple whom Yahwsha loved saith unto Peter, It is Yahwah.
He was the first to “recognize” the risen savour among the men, by the miracles. John, we will see, is very clear to say that Yahwsha is Yahwah. Seeing him as a father. And we see this “leaning back” on the bosom of Messiach as “a father” repeated in three other instances by the forefathers and even here in the New Covenant:
Ba'heq Avraham: the “bosom of Abraham. After living as a beggar before a rich man’s home, Lazarus dies and “rested in the bosom of Abraham.”
Luke. 16 Verses 19 to 26[22] And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; [23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Where does this "bosom of Abraham" saying come from? Many are not aware that Abraham blessed Jacob in the book of Jubilees before Issac blessed him so that all were assured of the blessing promised to Jacob. All of his sons and Issac were in the room of Abraham’s death bead, he blesses Jacob above all his sons and then, as the book of Jubilees says,
“The two of them lay down together on one bed, and Jacob slept in the bosom of Abraham (בחיק אברהם; ba'heq Avraham), his grandfather. And [Abraham] kissed him seven times, and his emotions and his heart rejoiced over him” (Jub 22:26).
Abraham actually passes in the night and his blessing and Rwach on Abraham is transferred to Jacob. That seven times blessing of kisses is explained as the fulfillment of the covenant in my "7 Thunders" video. Please watch it. Issac performs the same blessing with Levi and Yahudah, despite the blessings of Yacob. The blessing of the grandfather is very important because it is agape love and conveys Ahaba (loving) blessings of the father despite any bitterness the immediate genetic father might have toward any sons.
At one point, Jacob's journeys to Bethel and Hebron, with Levi and Judah and Isaac blesses them as their grandfather in the Book of Jubilees (xxxi. 1-25; cf. Gen. xxxv.).
12. And the spirit of prophecy came down into his mouth, and he took Levi by his right hand and Judah by his left. .. 23. And he made the two sons of Jacob sleep, the one on his right hand and the other on his left and it was counted to him for righteousness.
These, the house of Levi and Judah later became the King Priests manifest in Yahwsha at the time John was with him. Consequently, it is fitting John rested in the bosom of Yahwsha like a son. He is the first to say Yahwsha is Adoni and Yahwah, and ascribes creation to him by the word, which he is. He says that Yahwsha is the light of the world, and even the Rwach of Truth, John 16:13, John 3:8/ John 8:14.
Indeed, John, Peter and James bother of Yahwsha, witnessed his transfiguration of the Savour with Messiach and EliYah on the Mount of Olives, where Yahwsha will establish the final temple on earth upon his return. Confirming again that Yahsharel are Yahwah’s witnesses of Yahwsha and salvation unto the ends of the earth.
The faithful witness, John, is charged with the role of Kinsman Redeemer of looking after Yahwsha’s mother, Mary, and her sons when Yahwsha is upon the cross. Yahwsha asks John to be the son of Yahwsha’s mother Mary, as he was leaving the earth.
John 19: 26 When Yahwsha therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son. 27 Then said he to the disciple, Behold thy mother: and from that hour, the disciple took her home unto him.
He took up the cause of the oppressed, fatherless and widow. Isaiah 1:17 says, "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow".
He calls himself "the disciple whom Yahwsha loved” also upon the witness of the women that Yahwsha was risen, and when Yahwsha gives Peter the command to feed his sheep and prophecies Peter’s crucifixion: John 20:2; 21:7; 21:20
Although he often witnessed events that the other apostles did not, such as the Transfiguration and the raising of Jairus’ daughter (Mark 5:37; Luke 8:51; Matthew17:1, Luke 9:23-36, Mark 9:2-13), all record the “Transfiguration of Yahwsha:
This is a very humble way to approach this awesome event. Although the other three synoptic gospels record this event, he humbly and graciously allows his other brothers to bear witness to it. For his is far greater, being chief among the apostles.
John The Faithful Witness: He was present when Yahwsha was in the Garden; before the Judges; and even at the cross. He never abandoned him. During the trial, Yahwsha was questioned by the high priest about His disciples and His teachings. John 18:19-21 records,
"Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about His disciples and His teaching. 'I have spoken openly to the world,' Yahwsha replied. 'I always taught in the synagogues and at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret. Why question Me? Ask those who heard Me. Surely they know what I said.'"
John stood by, waiting, a faithful witness to what Yahwsha said. But the truth is, no one wanted a faithful witness. The word says, “they also serve who stand and wait.”
He even served Yahwsha at the cross. John's account of the trial emphasizes the unjust nature of the proceedings, but he never draws attention to himself, it seems he did this out of humility.
Just as in the Book of John, he seems to not name himself as the first disciple of Yahwsha. He names the others as they are gathered but never himself as the first.
“The first shall be last and the last shall be first...”
Israel shall be “first and last” in all humility. Why doesn’t John acknowledge his superior position? Perhaps, humility.
There is no literal answer, but it seems also to express that his identity was rooted in the Love of Yahwsha. John’s book of Revelation or Chizyon was given to John via Yahwsha, the “Angel of Yahwah,” to bless all regarding the time that is at hand, how Yahsharel is set apart and planted in the end. This may be one of his greatest experiences with Yahwsha, as Yahwsha literally takes him up into heaven by the Rwach and is given the account of the End of the World and the beginning of Eternity. Yahwsha says to all the other disciples, “I cannot tell whence I come, and wither I go.” In John 8:14. Yet he does show John, which he reveals to us in the end of the book.
In Revelation or Chizayon, verse 1:2, John is careful to describe himself as a servant when he names himself.
The Revelation of Yahwsha HaMessiach, which Yahwah gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bore record of the Word of Yahwah, and of the testimony of Yahwsha Ha’ Massiach, and of all the things that he saw.
Servants includes us. He had to clearly state that the witness and record was, and he still describes himself as a servant. And this is love.
Consequently, one of the greatest expressions and understanding of the Love of Yahwsha and how to love perfectly, above all the disciples in the three books of 1 John, 2 John and 3 John, beyond his witness of Yahwsha in his Testimony of Yahwsha in the Book of John. It is here we see it is very clear who and what he is loving. Let’s deep dive into what he has to say in John 1:1
In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with Aluhym, and that Word was Aluhym.
Yahwsha came in the flesh as the “Commander” the commandment, WORD, by which all things were created and without which no thing was made. John 1:3. He is the living Epistle of Yah. Why am I emphasizing this? Because many in the faith fail to recognize that the word, testament of Yahwah held in the Ark, is Yahwsha himself. In the bible 13 times is the phrase, and “the word of Yahwah came to me saying…” and 5 times, that the word came to a man of Yah, saying… It becomes clear this is a living person, not just the “living word.” As said in Hebrews 4:
12 [a]For the [b]word of Aluhymis [c]lively, and mighty in operation, and sharper than any two edged sword, and entereth through, even unto the dividing asunder of the [d]soul and the [e]spirit, and of the joints, and the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts, and the intents of the heart.
The first time we learn that any word spoken by yahwah to a human is "doctrine" or "law" as we will learn shortly, is when Yahwah speaks to Adam and Eve in the Garden. Lets look further into the "word," first.
A PERSON: Word = Law = Commandments = Testament = Command = Testimony.
Be clear, family, the WORD came to the Judges and Prophets of Yahsharel and they were considered "gods" because they received that word. And Yahwsha was ALUHYM because he was the word, that makes us "gods," sons of Yahwsah when we hear and obey. Why do I say that? Messiach himself says in John 10:35
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of ALUHYM came, and the scripture cannot be broken; say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of ALUHYM?
This is a living word that can transform and change us through obedience. We are transfigured by hearing the "Word."
Our soul and spirit are the mercy seat or alter where the Rwach dwells. For Yahwsha the word, is the living epistle who enters our temples via the Rwach HaKodesh for the word of life to restore us. It dwells in our stony hearts, to make them of new flesh. This is a relationship with Yahwsha and the person of the Rwach HaKodesh. When he commands something, he is referring not only to what he says in the New Covenant, but what he said, from the beginning.
Lets look at the Hebrew words for love in context before we continue with how John illustrated this in his letters. What is the Hebrew word for Love? Ahavah, or Ahaba. It is not an emotion. Another version of this word is, V’ahavta is derived from Deuteronomy 6:5–9, Numbers 15:40–41, and sometimes also Deuteronomy 11:13–21 and Numbers 15:37–39.
This is a command from Yahwah given through Moses about how to love. The word is V’ahavta which sounds like “I have to.” When we use the proper, pronunciation of “v”, which is “W” it sounds like, “I have water.” It even sounds like "Abbah." When we love we do not what we will, but what we have to do to obey Yahwah and be like him. And this is how it is inextricably linked to the commandments of Yah. Here it is:
The prayer known as W’ahawta, a prayer about "how" to love Yahwah. It's called, "And You Shall Love." It is part of the "Shema," a regular spoken command to listen to, obey and Love Yahwha. Shema Yisrael ("Hear O Israel”). Deuteronomy 6:
4 “Hear, O Israel! [a]Yahweh is our Aluhym, Yahweh is one! 5 You shall love Yahweh your Aluhymwith all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as [b]phylacteries between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Revelation 3 says the northern and southern Kingdom of the Church of Philadelphia, has not denied the name of Yahwah, or Yahwsha and their names are written on them these two witnesses that are Israel. Our thoughts and your heart are given to you Yahwsha ha Messiach to love according to the Law. Loving him in your thoughts, doings and heart, with all your “heart, mind, soul and strength.”
“And you shall love…” is the root word Hava, or Haba, Strong’s H157 in the following manner: love, lover(s), friend(s), beloved, liketh, lovely, it is true biblical love.
Loving Yahwah is this first word that also applies to wives and best friends/brothers: Ah-ha-vah or Ahawah, H160 love (human love, God’s love) from the root H157 love.
Deut. 7:8 But because he loved H160 you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
I Samuel 18:3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved H160 him as his own soul.
Prov. 5: 16Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. 17Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee. 18Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. 19Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. 20And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? H160
Isaiah 63:9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love
There is a distinction here and I mention this first because the daughters of Yahsharel are to be favored first as they are your family. Hence, “To the Yahudi first, and then to the “Gentile,” says Romans 1:6
When we love the offspring of Jacob first, we are loving according to the command of Yah. But it is also applied outwardly according to order because you shouldn’t love a stranger more than your own, immediate tribe and family. Even the 12 tribes were commanded to marry only within their tribe if you want to contest this. Yahwsha and all priests are commanded to marry: ...maidens of the seed of the house of Israel... - Eze 44:22
Notice salvation is Yahwah's love in the examples above.
This "Love" term is used for loving thy neighbor but it is the root word, so this is all the type of love we should have for all living.
Ah-habH157 love, again is used as: love (169x), lover(s) (19x), friend(s) (12x), beloved (5x), liketh (1x), lovely (1x), loving (1x) in scripture.
Deut 6:5 And thou shalt love H157 H3068 thy Aluhym H430 with all thine heart, H3824 and with all thy soul, H5315 and with all thy might. H3966
Isaiah 56:6-7 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to , to serve him, and to love H157 the name of YAHWAH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
This is the love you are to have for the Stranger and for the Gentiles Grafted in. And they are set apart within the tribe of Israel that they enter the kingdom with.
Rah-kham H7356 with the root Rkm, H7355 is another word meaning to love, love deeply, have mercy, be compassionate, have tender affection, pity, surety, as from a womb, compassion. Let's look at it in context.
Psalms 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy H7355 upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
Psalms 103:13 Like as a father pitieth H7355 his children, so pitieth H7355 them that fear him.
Psalms 116:5 Gracious is , and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. H7355
Deut. 13 :17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion H7355 upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
This last example is an “Idol” because it’s Yahsharel’s greatest problem. It’s sin. Fornication, adultery, your phone, if you let them go, he will have a love that is merciful toward you.
Prov 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. H7355
This is loving. This word is translated in English in many scriptures to Yahwah’s compassion, mercy, tenderness,
This is not love when you enable someone who is okay with the chief sins, like witchcraft or adultery; another word for it is polygamy, or preferring strangers over the daughters of Israel or denying the sons or Daughters of Israel their heritage or rights as the seed. Which is completely uncscholarly.
This word, Rhakham, is used when Abram went to sacrifice Issac, when Jacob worked for Racheal, when Yahwah loves Jacob, regarding Yahwah’s promises to the nation of Yahsharel. And it is used here regarding his faithfulness to us:
Deu 7:9 Know therefore that Yahwah thy Aluhym, he is Aluhym, the faithful Aluhym, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love H157 him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
And don’t we love Yahwah in Yawsha because he first loved us? 1 John 4, “ We love him, because he loved us first.”
Let's return to John's Testimonies. As we look at the operation of love via the three middle books of John, I would like you to consider seeing them as one, though they appear to be separate as we will find they work very well together as one letter. Here is 1 John 2:
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not: and if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Yahwsha Christ, the Just. 2 And he is the reconciliation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we are sure that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
John conveys Yahwsha’s command to love three times in John 2:3, 2:4, 2:8, emphasizing “doing his will” or"keeping guard over his word" six times. Let's continue with 1 John 2:
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But he that keepeth his word, in him is the love of Aluhym perfect indeed: hereby we know that we are in him.
Keeping the commandments and doing them is how he explains that we love. And Evidence him in us. He goes on to give a “New Commandment.” But is it new? We shall see. Because these three books are all about how to love your brother: 1 John 2 goes on to say:
7 [m]Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment, which ye have had from the beginning: this old commandment is that word, which ye have heard from the beginning. 8 [n]Again, a new commandment I write unto you, that [o]which is true in him: and also in you: for the darkness is past, and that true light now shineth. 9 [p]He that saith that he is in that light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness, until this time. 10 He that loveth his brother, abideth in that light, and there is no occasion of evil in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
Obedience to his commands is the only way we love Yahwah and each other. This is the hate sin but not the sinner scripture. Ezekiel 9:4 “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” If you are sighing and crying about sin, and your brothers and sisters are being taught to sin and others enabling that sin, is not hating your brother or sisters. Yah is angry at sin all day long. But hating your brother in your heart about sin, is not lawful. And moving in lawlessness is not love.
Clarity is made in this scripture: “17 And this world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of Aluhym, abideth ever.” This again is do the word. “Do” is another word for brother and love in Hebrew. It can also mean folly in other contexts. It is not just the Law and the Rwach of the Law that means command, but we will see how often command means to the word of Yahwah here. And it is continually backed up by “doing” what is commanded. It is standing guard over the command.
Let’s continue: 1 John 2: 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.”
Here we have the literal definition of sin, or hatred for your brother, which many quote. Yes, says the Apostle John who was on the mount of Transfiguration, rested in the bosom of Yahwsha, whom he believed was Yah, and ascended to heaven with the Angel of Yah said in 1 John 3:
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth the law: for sin is the transgression of the law… 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.8 He that committeth sin is of the devil
He defines sin as transgression of the law. He emphasized the commandment and doing it. This book is about faith by works. He tells us that love lays down its life for another, “hafta,” because "I have to."
16 Hereby perceive we the love of Aluhym, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of Aluhymin him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Three times John says we demonstrate that we have him and his Rwach and even have what we ask from Yahwsha because we “keep” his commandments in 1 John 3:22-24
1) 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
2) 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Yahwsha Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
3) 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Rwach which he hath given us.
The “doing” is the “keeping” and the evidence.
We continue in 1 John chapter 4 here, which says "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." Why, because there is no trust in Yahwah in it. No faith, it is not doing faith.
Do nothing that gives the appearance of “Evil .” Thessalonians 5:22.
What fellowship does light have with darkness?” Corinthians 6:14
Many will tolerate sin out of grace, but is that fair to new believers who might then go and tolerate that openly stated lawlessness that you tolerate? You will sin twice now leading others astray. If you want to be gracious, be clear in stating your position on the topic of law because if you fellowship with those who openly state agreement with lawlessness, you are condoning sin and will be held accountable. Instead, love your brothers and sisters by loving them in spite of their sin, and clearly stating your own position on the Law regarding the matter so you don’t “enable sin” and lead people astray.
What makes you able to detach from your anger about sin is that you cling to Yahwah and thereby you have faith you leave this situation in his hands but that doesn't mean that you have fellowship with works of unrighteousness or those who do unrighteousness.
Chapter five of First John is all about not believing every Spirit because many false prophets have gone into the world, he furthermore that confessing Yahwsha is love.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of Aluhym; and every one that loveth is born of Aluhym, and knoweth Aluhym. He that loveth not knoweth not Aluhym; for Aluhymis love.... 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth Aluhymlove his brother also.
The sign that we love Yahwah and know him is that we then love one another according to the Law written within us. He returns all of this to the commandment. Loving your sister or brother isn’t agreeing with what is unlawful. Yes, you may bear with it for a while till they learn. But do we surround ourselves with those in agreement about the same unlawful sin not being sin? No.
1 John 5:2-3 is remarkably clear:
By this we know that we love the children of Aluhym, when we love Aluhym, and keep [guard] his commandments. For this is the love of Aluhym, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
As we see when we do this the father, Rwach and son bear witness that we are their children and family 1 John 5:
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
And the consequence of this is that we are unharassed by the devil, he can’t even touch us according to 1 John 5:
18 We know that whosoever is born of Aluhym sinneth not; but he that is begotten of Aluhym keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
The Second Book of John notes that he finds the Assembly of The Elect Lady, nation Yahsharel, walking in the truth of Yahwsha, truth himself as they have been commanded by the father.
4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
They are walking in obedience to the command.
Now some may say that these are the commands of Yahwsha, not the Torah. Well as we saw above, he already said this is not a “new commandment.” So here is the second witness in 2nd John:
And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Yahwsha Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Yahwsha says, “for many deceivers are entered into the world who confess not Messiach.” How is this tied to faith and the commands? It is literally, "The Doctrine of Messiach/Christ."
Because faith, Amunah, spelled, AMN's letters mean the leader to the waters, moves us or pours living waters on the seed, who is Yahwsha in your heart. This word is a picture of Yahwah watering and planting the seed in your heart. For, John 6:44, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him to life on the last day.”
Because Yahwsha is the living word and the word and command living in you, by faith you are led by the force of the leader to the seed of Life. That is the literal word picture of faith. Living water is a law of doing by the force of Yahwah within. You are the living epistle. And if you are not walking in him, the Law of the Spirit that was from the beginning, you are Anti-Christ.
2 John 9: Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not Aluhym. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Aluhym speed:
You are not to share the House of Prayer, the House of Yahwah with them! If they deny the law. Because they don’t know that Yahwsha is the father, son and Rwach dwelling within as they dwell in heaven. You are the temple and witness of them in heaven. They are your family, so don’t become family with those who deny Torah, deny the law. How do we know?Refer back to 1 John 3:4, “sin is transgression of the law.”
Now many are going to make excuses and say, well, doctrine is a Greco Roman term, it doesn’t mean law. Many think that Doctrine is not Torah. But Satan sought to change times and laws in the reign of the Anti-Christ, Dan 7:25, which has been solid for the last 400 plus years. So, he just changed the word law, to the Greek, "Doctrine." And said the law was done away with.
Doctrine is a codification of beliefs or a body of teachings or instructions, taught principles or positions, as the essence of teachings in a given branch of knowledge or in a belief system.
The word Didache is Greek for doctrine G1, and it’s all over the Septuagint and the Old Testament as "the teachings" of Moses and Yahwah. Ecclesiasticus 24: 33-34
I will yet pour out doctrine as prophecy, and leave it to all ages for ever. Behold that I have not laboured for myself only, but for all them that seek wisdom.
What do we notice here? Well, first, that prophecy confirms the Law, and not all prophecy has been fulfilled, so it maintains and reinforces the law! Confirming the law is “for all ages.”
The etymological Greek analogue for Doctrine is "catechism" but it is often "instruction" in the Torah and Prophets.
Proverbs 1:5A wise man will hear, and will increase learning [H3948 Doctrine]; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:...8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father [YAHWAH], and forsake not the Law of thy mother [Rwach]:
You see the law is synonymous with instruction in Torah and Tanach, that's why it's not called the Old Testament. It is current, and there are prophecie are yet to come to pass.
Pro 4:2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my Law.
Doctrine is Law! When we look at the famous Lachish Relief depicting the Israelites being taken captive by the Assyrians, this provides us with a rememberance of the Law and the consequences of breaking it. We can be reminded of the word which equates with the Law of Yah and doctrine looking at: לֶקַח leqach, leh'-kakh; from Strong's concordance, H3947; properly, something received, i.e. (mentally) instruction (whether on the part of the teacher or hearer); also (in an active and sinister sense) inveiglement:—doctrine, learning, fair speech.
These are commands, words spoken by “the word.” Yahwsha.
Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
The word also used here is the same word as in the Shema, remember, “for you shall love Yahwah your Aluhym with all your heart mind, soul and strength in Deuteronomy, which is also embodied in the first 5 commandments of Exodus, but it means "listen to instruction".
Shâmaʻ, shaw-mah': H8085); A root word,a primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.):—× attentively, call (gather) together, × carefully, × certainly, consent, consider, be content, declare, × diligently, discern, give ear, cause to, let, make to.
When Adam and Eve heard Yahwah calling to them in the garden, this was the Shama, in Genesis 3:8
And they heard H8085 the voice of Yahwah Aluhym walking in the garden in the cool of the day:
His voice, "word" is instruction, and he was about to discourse on their "law breaking" because the law was from the beginning. It is life. And sin is the transgression of it. See the connection? No one can see Yahwah and live. This was the image he bore to walk with Adam and Eve in the garden. And Messiach is the image and word we bear within us when we obey his commands.
This the Basorah, or "good news."
It is instruction from Yahwah, Messiach, coming from his mouth like waters of life.
The power or force of Yahwah of the son and Rwach within you moving you to life is embodied in Sirach 24.
24:26 He maketh the understanding to abound like Euphrates, and as Jordan in the time of the harvest. 24:27 He maketh the doctrine of knowledge appear as the light, and as Geon in the time of vintage. 24:28 The first man knew her not perfectly: no more shall the last find her out. 24:29 For her thoughts are more than the sea, and her counsels profounder than the great deep. 24:30 I also came out as a brook from a river, and as a conduit into a garden. 24:31 I said, I will water my best garden, and will water abundantly my garden bed: and, lo, my brook became a river, and my river became a sea. 24:32 I will yet make doctrine to shine as the morning, and will send forth her light afar off.
You see the living waters are the Law and spirit of life. John 4:30
Yahwsha said “In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.”
And he went on to say in a later chapter that, this food was the good news. That it was “manna from heaven.” And he was the flesh and blood we must eat and drink. Again, here is the living word, manifest as light in John chapter 1. He refers to both the Euphrates and the Gihon, because they are the rivers of Japheth and Ham. So, his law would reach even to the captivity of Yahsharel and the Gentile nations. The Gihon as in the time of vintage refers to “wine” which he served at the wedding supper, and the blood we and his disciples take of, in remembrance of him.
This is the light of the word as written in the book and on our hearts.
DOCTRINE IS LAW!
And we further confirm all of this when we return to the final book or letter in this group of John's letters, which should really be taken as one, it seems. 3 John concludes the matter saying:
3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
This is the Spirit of Truth and the Word, who is Yahwsha. And the good we do is the evidence that we have seen and know him, 3 John 1:
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of Aluhym: but he that doeth evil hath not seen Aluhym.
For the Law of Yahwah is perfect, converting the soul, the statues of Yahwah are righteous and true, making wise the simple. – Psalm 19:17
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
So when we do not turn to Yahwsha as the WORD, that came to those whom Yahwsha called little gods, we forget Yahwsha. What does it mean?
When we are rooted in the Father and his love we affirm his love for us daily and his goodness towards us do it daily then we become the disciple whom Yahwah loves because we just dwell in that. We dwell in his love, we remember his love we don't complain because we trust in his love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love...
Ahava and so that's why I said and you shall love, Ahawata, I havta (I have to) or I have water, you shall love you who are your heart mind soul and strength. You can just picture wise John. Yah’s seed of his spirit observing so many situations with wisdom dwelling in his love and admiration for his father looking up to him like a child, a brother in all of this. For any of you who are who don't believe the law is first in all of scripture this set of books of John in fact all of his books clearly demonstrate that he very clearly talking about the law and the law is actually poured out in prophecy as we saw in Ecclesiastes. That’s why he is also a prophet that's what his letters do.
He says that the Dragon even wars with those who have the Law and testimony of Messiah in Revelation 12. That's what the Book of Revelation does, it really demonstrates that he rested in the bosom of Yahwah. Which is why 1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
Conclusion: Over fifteen times in these three books of John, keeping the commandments is love, toward Yahwah and one another.
His identity was planted in the Love of Yahwsha. Just as Yah watered and planted the seed of the word in his heart according to Aamnah. Faith. This is why he was first and last.
He allowed his brothers to testify to miracles and give a testimony of him when he could have because it is love to walk in humility.
He was a faithful witness to Yahwsha, even when Peter Abandoned him.
He took on the Role of First-Born son to Mary, Yahwsha’s family, upon the death of Yahwsha, as a Kinsman Redeemer himself for the family of Yahwsha. He took up the cause of the oppressed, fatherless and widow. Isaiah 1:17
He loved according to the commandments by doing love, not just in word, and he testified to the good News, salvation in Yahwsha.
In the book of John he teaches Yahwsha’s commandments are doctrine, and doctrine is the word. He explained that Yahwsha was the word from the beginning.
Standing guard over the commandments, he defined sin as transgression of torah, who is Yahwsha, so he obeyed law, and this is why he was loved and trusted by Yahwsha, who said: “If you love me, keep my commandments.”
For this reason, because he's the first and last of the Apostles, and was shown the Kingdom of Heaven above by the evidence of the Kingdom within him, he was the disciple whom Yahwsha loved, just as he loves the sons and daughters of Yahsharel.
Love is a commandment embodied in the "Shema," And you shall Love," Ahaba or Ahawah, which sounds like Abba, I have to, or I have waters... of life. Shema is to listen, hear, and obey instructions to love Yahwah with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. And the first instruction came from Yahwah to Adam at the beginning of his time in the garden. The word doctrine is the same as words of instruction or law, which is noted first in Genesis three when Adam and Eve hear Yahwah's voice after they sin. Yahwsha is the living word and Epistle, as were the Apostles, who were called "gods" like all the judges and prophets because the living WORD, Yahwsha came to them, and they obeyed the instructions and commands. This transformed them as we will be in the kingdom. All that is in Corinthians is embodied in Lekesh, the pitiful, charitable, compassionate, merciful aspects of love. It is also depicted in the Lachish Relief, which depicts the captivity of Israel to Assyria to remind us of Yahwah's mercy in our captivity to Babylon and our sin.
The word AMN, or AMMUNAH, faith is the leader, Yah, moving us to the seed, Yahwsha, who is the word and watering it, causing it to grow. Faith enables us to keep the commands, and Yah saves us in this way. Prophecy is part of the law, for in these last times, Yahwah is pouring it out as doctrine. This is also how he made the commands and laws inescapable to the very end. The Word is the fabric of our world and time, because He was in the beginning with Yahwah. John repeats that obedience to the commandment is love, and disobedience is hatred. He is called the disciple Yahwsha loved because Yahwsha is the father. He reminds us that to love Yahwah with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, as the "Shema" says, and your neighbour as yourself is not a "new commandment" but one that was from the beginning. Only faith, hope and love will remain after time ends, in eternity, and like Yahwsha is the word, "Love" is the supreme law because HE is our father, "Ahaba."
SUPPLEMENTAL:
Self Reflection on this study in relation to Unity among the Gentiles Grafted in and despite the sin of Polygamy among the Hebrew Israelites:
When we self reflect on how Corinthians defines love, we find that it too refers back to the Love of Yahwah, Ahaba. In this case Rah-kham is used.
The context for Corinthians is rah-kham H7355 to love, love deeply, have mercy, be compassionate, have tender affection, have compassion. mercy...compassion, pity, love, merciful, Ruhamah, surely. The letters mean, 'resh" the head, or resh, of "hey" set apart and living waters, as the last letter is "m." רַחַם†H7356 womb, compassion. (Root is H7355 above) 1 Corinthians 13:4
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
This is the scripture we must all face in dealing with the question of Love, relating to unity in Yahsharel and unity with the Gentiles Grafted in. Abiding in love, is keeping the commandment, and that is how we have unity in love.
When people disobey the commands of Yahwah, they “insist on their own way.” And the two groups I pray and have concern for do this.
I want unity in love, for Psalm 133:
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Yah showed me in examining myself that I was in conflict because I was dealing with two groups who want to operate in and preach lawlessness, while they were confessing Messiach. I had to not hate them in my heart because hate the sin. As it was in the beginning, so it shall be in the end. My hate for sin was making me angry and bitter toward them.
The Gentiles refusing the name of Yahwah, and rejecting his son’s name, commandments and Holy Feasts absolutely will not save them. Period. Yahwah winked at it before. But no more.
Dealing with Yahsharel and Strangers who DO NOT LOVE THE NAME or the “Covenant” is very difficult! These are the only conditions upon which Yahwah will accept the Gentile, those who “LOVE” his Name! And he exalts his word above his name, according to Psalms.
Even the Testament of John tells when Yahwsha prays to Yah in the Garden of Gethsemane that Yahwsha 17:6, “manifested Yahwah’s name unto men, and they have guarded all (AX) your word.”
This proving that Yahwah’s name is manifest in the Saviour’s name, and all the word is still in effect. So Yahwah’s name is not Jesus, even “God” does not have Jesus couched in it. John even says in verse nine of the same chapter 17 verse 9,
“I pray for them ; I pray not for the world but for them which you have given me; for they are yours.”
He does not pray for the world, but those who are his. He says in verse eleven,
“Holy father, Guard them by your name, the same name which from beginning to end (AX) you have given me.”
His name is his father’s name, like so many eldest sons. Yahwah has no last name, his sons are given his name as are his daughters or wife. The grace for the Gentiles is in John 17:20,
“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be yachad, (brothers).
This is according to Psalm 133:
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”
And so, this is manifest in:
Isaiah 56:6-7 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Yahwah, to serve him, and to love H157 the name of YAHWAH.
Yahwah has given me complete relief regarding the Gentiles. They will not know whose are his until Yahwah reveals the sons of Yah himself. The very rare ones who will return to the Kingdom or properly teach others in their Tribulation will be the only ones he has revealed it to now. The main reason being Yah wants his children finding their own way to him, because we are the oracles of Yah and it takes great humility to understand that Yahsharel is first in the order of the Kingdom. Hence, to the Yahudi first, and then to the “Gentile.”
“Neither Yahdui nor Grecian (Hellenist), slave nor free, male nor female” also covers this in Galatians 3:28.
The actual translation is in the Geneva Bible, the most accurate Gentile, Latin and Greek bible, defines the scattered Jews and Israelites as Grecians, converted “Hellenists” in Galatians 3:28. If you don't want to believe me, believe the actual Gentiles. The Khazarian, Ashkanazi converts and non genetic descendants of Israel changed it in the Masoretic text to "Greeks." These are not “Gentiles” of other nations, but those of Yahsharel who abandoned Yah. We know this because the true translation is converts to Hellenism, not Greek by birth.
Had Paul meant all nations, he would have said, “Gentiles.” He would have said, neither “Jew nor Gentile.” That would have covered all nations, or he would have listed other nations like, Egyptians, Assyrians, Persians, but he is specific to say “Grecians,” meaning "converts." Because he was speaking specifically about scattered Israelites, for Yahwsha said he had come "I am come but for the lost sheep of Yahsharel." Matthew 15:24. He made this distinction to the Canaanite woman, because Yahsharel are the Kingdom of Priests sent to witness the Basora to other nations.
Again, this is why Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and the twenty-four tribe leaders and Apostles are round about the throne of Yahwah, which is a hierarchy. The 144,000 and the 1/3 Remnant, two candle sticks are the church of Philadelphia, the only ones with the name of Yahwah and Yawsha and the City of Yarushalem, written on them and they are "Pillars" in the temple, no other church. This is hierarchy. The priests of Levi who will minister to Yahwah eternally above all other tribes, is part of the hierarchy. Israel no longer goes in and out, but some of the seven churches do go outside the Kingdom to police the 1000 year reign. Read the book of Zechariahh.
That the “First shall be last and the last first, is confirmation of Hierarchy. Israel is my “First Born Son,” Exodus 4:22 confirms that hierarchy because Yahwsha is the only begotten son, the firstborn son of creation, and Yasharel is called the same, and no one is above Messiach, hence affirming the hierarchy. The father is above the Rwach and son, yet co-equal. This is the hierarchy in heaven.
Only the humblest Gentile knows the truth. Unfortunately, the lies taught in the Chruch to most Gentiles by their own fathers, mothers and officials and even the seed of Israel, prevents them from teaching the truth, even if they knew it, hence people cling to the Egyptian, Greek, Roman god, Jesus. I pray tall turn to Yahwah and be saved. Because salvation is only in his name.
This is the greatest promise to the Gentiles obedient to the commands of Yahwah in Isaiah 56 and manifest in the Gentile Church of Pergamos of whom Yahwsha says: "I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." Isaiah 56:
56:1 Thus saith Yahwah, “Keep ye judgment, and do justice; for My salvation is near to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; who keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to Yahwah, speak, saying, “Yahwah hath utterly separated me from His people”; neither let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
4 For thus saith Yahwah: “Unto the eunuchs that keep My Sabbaths, and choose the things that please Me, and take hold of My covenant,
5 even unto them will I give in Mine house and within My walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.
6 Also the sons of the stranger that join themselves to Yahwah to serve Him, and to love the name of Yahwah, to be His servants, every one that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of My covenant,
7 even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon Mine altar, for Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
What is most important to know is that salvation is in Yahwah's name, which he exalts even his word above! This is the importance of the word and the law. Psalm 138:2 As the great Gentile preacher John McArthur has repeated from scripture: Psalm 119:18, "Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things out of thy Law."
